Data for the Enterprise

NAVMap Enterprise is an ESRI  file based geodatabase with network, internal geocoder and mxd. This product may be loaded directly into ArcGIS, ArcLogistics, ArcGIS Server and the corporate geodatabase for enterprise customers.

NAVMap products are available for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, South America and South African regions at present. More countries are being added.

Product Description

NAVMap Enterprise is a file based geodatabase of processed data built from the Navteq Premium data. The country datasets are  uncompressed and includes a Network for Network Analyst and ArcLogistics operations. The dataset also incorporates a locator and geocoding indicies to enable geocoding on the street address ranges found in the Navteq source data.

Usage

NAVMap enterprise is designed for easy incorporation into the enterprise SDE instance or geodatabase from where it may be disseminated by any of the ESRI client or web server products (eg ArcGIS server). Loading the data into the corporate databases can be as simple as an ArcCatalog Drag and Drop.

Layers

Unlike the Mobile and Desktop products, NAVMap Enterprise tables closely mirror the Navteq delivery structures. All the Navteq connectivity and metadata tables are included so users may build enterprise products as required.

   

Cartography

Cartographic display is managed by an map document file (mxd) devised by NAVIGATE and maintained to provide a similar look and feel across countries and NAVMap product sets.
